A Feeling Of Worth

A LETTER FROM LEE POWELL

We received this letter from the great Lee Powell this week, Paul gave it to me to read after he had read it. I could see from the look on Paul's face that he was deeply moved by the content of the letter. I too felt proud to be a part of a company that, aside from producing what I consider the best range of bodybuilding supplements in the world, helps so many people realize their life's ambitions.
As editor of The Governor I see many letters from grateful bodybuilders, powerlifters and other athletes who have been helped by Paul. Indeed Paul himself helped me go from an 168lb bean pole to a respectable (but still not big enough) 224lbs. These letters are what helps us all get through the rumors, the character assassinations, and other unpleasantness that gets thrown our way simply because as a company we are not afraid to tell it how it is.
I saw Lee yesterday when came over for a photoshoot, even my uneducated eye could see the improvements in Lee's physique. Lee is a quiet guy, he keeps himself to himself, at the Mr. Wales, Lee was sitting alone, plugged into his walkman, staying focused. If he doesn't win the Britain, which I feel he can, he will certainly make a huge impact and his name WILL be known.

Dear Paul
I am writing to say a massive thank you for everything that you have done for me this year. Without your help I doubt if I could have done so well this year. You are truly a good friend and one of the most knowledgeable and unselfish persons I have ever met. When I visit you I always come away with a good positive feeling and clear mind. Getting ready for a show is possibly the hardest thing you can go through, but with your help everything is a million times easier.
I am saying thank you now, before the finals, as regardless of where I place I have achieved my main goal this year and that is simply just to be a competitive bodybuilder again. However I will, with you beside me, be going all out in my preparations for the finals. I will give every aspect 100% effort.
Thanks a million
Lee Powell.
